The Red Door Saloon (Midtown Location)
In addition to offering a full bar, it’s also a great spot to grab a bite to eat. It’s known for serving up some of the best steamed sandwiches and hot dogs in town. Piled high with melted cheese, coleslaw and onion, the Chicago Dog is a must-have if you’re especially hungry.
If you’re staying in downtown Nashville, it’s a quick 10-minute car ride to the Red Door Saloon. The saloon has a large patio out front where you can relax and take in the Nashville scene.

Best of Nashville 2016
It’s time to search for the stars! No, not the Hollywood type who are just like us. For Best of Nashville 2016, we’re gazing upon all that Nashville has to offer and celebrating the brightest people and places that make this city sparkle. And this year, we invite you to do more than just cast your ballot — we also want to hear about why these people, places, drinks, shops and more are so special. So tell us what you love about your choice in the appropriate field below, and you may see your words in print (though that’s not required for your vote to count). You may submit one ballot during the voting period (Aug. 4 – Sept. 6). You may save your ballot and return to it throughout that time frame. You must vote in at least 20 categories for your ballot to count. Happy stargazing!
On August 12th – 13th, 2016 the 13th annual Tomato Art Fest will take place in Historic East Nashville’s Five Points . This free, costume-encouraged event provides a wildly entertaining, fun-filled day for all types and all-ages. A community builder, Tomato Art Fest has steadily drawn larger crowds with each passing year. In 2015, an estimated 60,000 came to celebrate this beloved fruit / vegetable and enjoy the day’s memorable festivities. Read More…
On June 15, 2016 be sure and join us for another milestone in Red Door Saloonery, it’s gonna be a celebration, red Door style!
East Nashville’s Best Bars: This unique watering hole doesn’t hold a large crowd. That makes it perfect for weeknight beers, happy hour drinks, and weekend night hangouts. The decor is interesting and will keep you occupied if your party starts to get bored. Look for skulls and cross bones, funny quotes, photos of celebrities, and walls lined with wine corks. If you’re craving a drink during the day, you’ll find plenty of like-minded folks hanging out on the deck at Red Door East. Red Door has a laid-back atmosphere, and usually carries a number of American beers in bottles and on top. The best part is, the beer’s always ice cold.
You’ve heard of skeletons in the closet, but Red Door Saloon has a skeleton in the basement. It’s tricky talking your friends into laying down on a bar-room floor and peeking into a tiny hole in the wood but once they do, they will see a full skeleton. Who cares as long as the drinks are strong and the music is loud? There is a Red Door in both East and West Nashville, with both basements displaying the remains of a past life. And if you’ve ever envisioned a bar made out of money, then Red Door would be it. The entire bar top is made out of pennies. They serve up the finest brats in town, Chicago style, and the jukebox is always on loud.
Ten Years, that’s the milestone being hailed this Sunday night at The Red Door Saloon East Nashville. Join in the revelry of celebrating a decade in East Nashville! Coinciding with The Day-of-the-Dead on November 2nd, this will be one great event!
